Friday, July 19, 1912   6 AM.  Ther.  58.  80.  64. = 67 1/3
Clear. N.E.3.  Shave self early.  Nothing doing at our furnace.  Tue goes out to Berts on noon car.  I drove through Loxa and through place.  Harman's men (4) plowing corn south  of house.  He was over home is working is working in timothy meadow preparing for hauling.    Both corn and B.C. pretty weedy.  Some of corn looks well.  I went  S. through Loxa going furthar south road ate no dinner.  Jack dog went with me.   Saw none of Gaines except Wm.  the roads generally dry but rough in places.  Got home 5 P.M.  Take mare up to  Nickles.  Mostly clear day N.E. moderate wind go Bed 9.30

Clear .  Hat was down a while A.M.  Remit PL Best Bal. 21.93  They allowed me 12.50 over charge.  Rent Driveway 4.00 in full.  He still overcharge against one of 2.20.  Rent Bethesda(?) 4.00 in full.  Put up hammock for girls by smoke house.  Considerably cooler than lately some clouds but not much signs of rain.  People are getting discouraged.  There are no berries nor much of any other fruit in the country.  Go bed, 9.30 P.M. N. wind all day.

Clear, hazy. N.1.  Tue set out her celery plants yesterday.  I drove uptown A.M.  Met Rairdin at P.O.  He wants me to go to ranch and report as to his ranch.  They are putting an iron railing around monument.  Tue got  letter from Buddy, she arrived at Reasor's all right   Phebe went riding with Sue P.M. and Tue went up town.  Mostly clear AM.  Milky blue sky.  Some lazy cummili deloflofi into light thunder showers north.  Light south wind.  Was alone till bed time.  Go bed. 9.30

Tuesday, June 28, 1887,  6 AM.  Ther.  69.  89.  68.
Clear or nearly so.  Wash and oil  my harness.  Girls went to Mary Fackler's School in forenoon.  Hammock recd from St. Louis does not suit very fell.  Express 45c.  Mauice  Larry here most of P.M.  Went up to see how Listen was getting along with buggy,  had just begin to work on it.  H.G. down today Trying  to figure how much lumber the city has.  Tue    making some blue dresses for Maggie and Phebe.  Mostly clear day E wind Go bed 10 P.M.
