Saturday,  May 25, 1912           6 AM.  Ther.  60. 82. 66. =29 2/3
Part Cloudy. N.E.1.  Oil buggy and was up town a while A.M.  Helen* and her boys were here a while A.M.  There was a slight accident on street line near Dr. Shaffers no one hurt.  I drove E. of town late P.M. getting back about six.  It is getting very dry streams are going down fast.  People  east of town to have finished their planting; some fields up.  Pastures look good.  bluegrass making tall growth this season.  Phebe out with Ora very late.  Gobed 8.30

*Helen Ferrish- Tue's neice.  Tue's sister Fan's daughter.  At this time she had two sons, John and George.

125 Years Ago

Wednesday, May 25, 1887   6.30 AM  Ther. 60, 75 ?  59 clear.  Expected Comer early but he sis not come at all.  After dinner start for timber alone and met Comer when nearly there, arrived home at 7 P.M.  Cool day.  Tue and Delia cleaning house in kitchen.  Tue has caught cold in breast.  Delia went to commencement tonight with friend.  Today was last day of school.  G. Weber  makes deduction of $10 on his wages.  Comer delivered first lumber on City bill.  Pete McGurty makes a few remarks about license this morning and thinks Comer says he will move engine Monday.  Gobed 10 P.M.
