Wednesday,  May 8, 1912 5.30 AM  Ther, 54, 78, 60 = 64
Clear, N.1.  One stiles and companion call wanting to build me barn.  Harman phones  early has been too wet to break any of our ground.  thought he would try it  this morn again.  T & E. begin on sitting room. I drive E. to timber.  Saw no  fungi.  Jack dog went, and got defiled worst ever. I scrub him P.M. without much effect.  I feel better today but can't brag much on my feelings.  T&E put in hard day at S.R. and didn't finish.  Part cloudy P.M. and threatening wind W to N.W light shower 6 P.M.and later(.07 in.)  Gobed 10.   full rainbow

Sunday, May 8, 1887   7 A.M.Ther. 64, 83, 66  Clear.  Decide not to scrub out today.  Cross helps out awhile.  He and self went down by Mat Browns hunting mushrooms, did not find any.  Got home about 2 P.M. after dinner.  Tue took baby over to Knocks and children went walking with Ruth Davis.  Tommy Knock got about half a bushel of mushrooms down on river bottoms  today.  They have now been coming for over a week.  Don't feel very well today.  Go bed 10.30  Tue takes off girls woolens.
