1842 Palmyra, N.Y. Born June 2 in the Williams H
1843 P. Father runs a hide and leather Store in P
1844 Geneva Henry born Oct. 10 Move to Seneca and farm Uncle M.
1845 G Still at at S. This is the year I ate too much C pie
1846 P Henpeck Dad run Indiana on canal
1847 P sitto. I ran E. and H west. Aunt An Stod H
1848 G Sold boat. Aunt Sally J. died. We move to Seneca.
1849 G and locate in Grandmother's back room and
1850 G I go to school. Set corners all I can Father
1851 G gets small farm joining Grandmothers and they
1852 G build a house. Many sugar trees and we make
1853 G sugar every spring. Dad gets partime outfit
1854 G and starts in brick house opposite Grandmothers
1855 P Dad gets notion to start and store and grain
1856 P biz in Palmyra, and we move out there in 55
1857 P To I tend grocery for dad till Apl 57 when he
1858 C (?) quit and went west to Wis and later
1859 C to Ch. Ill Aunt Ann & family came down
1860 C in 57 and we built a house and lived
1861 C one family from Sept. 57 till Apl 59 Isaac
1862 C took the old house and Dad built a new one
1863 C G on the corner road running N. The war began
1864 C G in 61 and Uncle GW & H with Aunt C come
1865 G I went to N.Y. in Apl 63 and stayed a year
1866 G Returning to Ill. K +H+ Dad all went
1867 G into the war. I think Kenydr (?)came 66

1870 G m + Ann went E. I taught W.G. Mother home Oct. 73
1871 G Toll gates. AA buy house. He gets away.
1872 G. Miles appoints me Ass. PM.
1873 G SPO whole year.

1875 C Isaac died Feb 14 Buy Simons Liquor St.
1876 C Mother d. Jan 31 I went to Wis.
