Clear. S.W.1 There was a light white frost. Tue and Ellen repair old rocking chair &c today. Tue gets letters from Muggs and Phebe. P. thinks she will be home in two weeks. Tue went to Loxa on 3 car returning at 6. I drove E. P.M. Roads some muddy. Farmers not at work Tand E went over to Mrs. Curds at night and later Tue went over to Groves staying till 10 P.M. Mostly clear day with light variable winds go bed 9. P.M.

Friday, May 13, 1887 6.30 A.M> Ther. 64,86, 70 Clear, remainder of my silkworm eggs mostly hatch. Those recd. from Ag. Dep. show signs of hatching. See Al Prevo up town, he has come from Bessemer, Ala. to attend Funeral of his mother in law. Took Tue and baby for drive toward night. Gobed 10 P.M.
