Tuesday, May 14, 1912   5.30 A.M.  Ther. 5o, 64, 54. = 56
Mostly cloudy, N.1.  Tue  and Ellen wash.  The Record Herald not yet regular.  We get yesterdays paper about 11 AM today.  I drove SW 4 or 5 miles P.M.  Saw several small fields of corn planted.  Get home about 6.  Met Joe Reat with disabled Auto.  Mostly cloudy A.M.  Sprinkle rain about 8 oc.  Light variable winds.  Tue over to Groves at night.  They are selecting jury for trial of Dr. Walker  Have been two days getting  nine men.  The roads generally dry, rough in places.  Go bed 9.30

125 Years Ago

Saturday, May 14, 1887  6.40 AM.  Ther. 68,87,68  Clear pleasant day.  Uncle John down to dinner.  Last night I gave Davis my old lot of silkworms, about four-thousand.  Talk with  Briggs and Comer about city lumber and will go to timber with Comer next Tuesday.  Take  Tue and children down to Snider's toward night.  Delia  goes home.  Go bed 10 P.M.
