Part cloudy.W.2. Jo came and went to work 6.30. Emma Warman helping Tue wash AM. Jo works all day and will come tomorrow . Spaded old house garden and begins on mowing yard. there was sprinkle of rain 9.30 AM. but no more and most clear day variable winds becoming easterly. So grass seed where missing.Tue uptown P.M. and went to Modern Eve show with Mrs. Brooks at night. Manager of theater gives tickets for use of billboard. Tue got letter from Muggs saying she had lately sent me new disc by P.P. We have not received it yet. Harman phoned at night: says has his oats all sown -E side of 30 A near Loxa. Shrieves had not finished. Tum mare in pasture a while at night. She fills up with bluegrass. Tue and trim up some vines and roses PM. Miller has not appeared. Promised to begin paint Tuesday. Most clear. S.E.3. gas.Jo came 6.30 Mows yard first time. I return potatoes to Crims and get some Ohio to plant. He gives me sample of eating potatoes. Jo works at garden P.M. we plant part of oil piece. Move lot of pie plant, plant radishes carrots, beets okra and potatoes. Tue went to R.C. P.M. Clouds up P.M. with sp rain 7 P.M. and a little thunder 9 P.M. Light southerly winds. Cooler is predicted. Gobed 9

Clear. City election. Link and Ray in 4th ward; Record and Richter 3rd; Neal and Lainon 2nd; and W.G. Wright alone in 1st ward. Orr and Patton for Mayor McCum Treas. Blankenbaker and Harter clerk Theaker and Chambers Attorney, are the candidates. License to sell liquor is also an issue. The election went off smoothly no excitement and apparently very little work done for and against license. License carried by 76 majority and the entire dem. ticket elected excepting Chambers. Had horse shod in front at Rice's. Buggy got run into by runaway horse. Clear day E. wind Go bed 10.30 P.M.

Nearly clear - hazy- easterly wind. Mrs. Dickinson comes to wash. Write to Muson & Co. about applying for a patent for improved slat fence. Sent model. Went uptown about 10 AM. Town full of liquor drummers. Hyman Freeberg and several others. H.G. and I give Hyman constitutional(?) order for 10 BBl Mottingte @150 sp 86. H & H back to dinner. Start for timber about 12.30 P.M. Nobody at Milts am pretty well disgusted with Milt and don't think he will be very useful. Saw Mrs. Drake but Milt did not come. Start home about 6.15. Pleasant warm day clouds up at night and sprinkles rain. Gobed 10.15
