Clear. N.1. Pasture mare on library lot and hitch up early. Had thoughts of trip to Loxa but too blamed hot. I drove up AM for Sunday pape. Tue intended to go to Chatauqua (sic) with Mrs. Brooks but did not feel able . Ida and Josephine Mullen are visiting in Charleston they live in Oklahoma. Today ends Chatauqua (sic) which began on 19th. The Holiness meeting back of Mort Grove's has finished. Tue remained at home all day. Toward night I drive south to Finch S.H. and return by Hog Farm. Clear day moderate Northerly winds . Roads very dusty. Gobed 9.30 P.M.

Most clear N.E.2. Seibert did not fix up buggy as promised and I put in day waiting for him He sends word at night that will do it early in morning. Get 1/2 bu potatoes at Charley Grims for which owe him 65 cents. PAID Calls them the "round white." They are home grown. Tue grunting all day and think oat times of getting the Dr. We did not hear from the girls. Tue looks for them home tomorrow. I drove over to Rhodes tell her to Wash Wednesday instead of Tuesday as intended. Mort and Kate were over a while at night. Clear day, moderate northeasterly wind. No signs of rain. Go bed 9.

Clear. N.E.1. Seibert came and put in axels to buggy, not fine job. I hitch to old buggy. Drive down to light plant and pay for July 1.64 ck. Call to Tucker Bros. paying last coal bill 5.00 ch. Drive up to see Abbott about working. Nobody at home. Tue goes to Mrs. Hibbard trial with Mrs. Brooks. It turns out to be one of warm days. Harman calls and settles for crib of corn sold. There was much less than supposed. Says is going to N.Y. in morn with excursion. Will visit Geneva. Corn weighed out 273 bu @ 65 cts. Tue looked for the girls at noon but they didn't come till after dark. Buddy and Charles came with them. Clear mostly with moderate northeast to S.E. winds. Gobed 10 P.

Mostly cloudy E.2. there was sp. after midnight and again with thunder 6 AM. Rhoda washed and then ironed till 4 P.M. Tue not feeling any better. The girls clean up new buggy and I hitch to it before noon. Muggs is going back to Jeff City tomorrow and Phebe will leave in a few days. the three girls with Charles went out to Helens on 5.30 P.M. train returning 9 P. I drove to Kickapoo at Geis to wash PM. wheels. Mostly clear clouding toward night. Return via Wrights. Gobed 9

About clear. Picked peck of plums from one of lombard trees find about half of them stung by insect. Mrs. Dickenson came to iron. Myers calls and pays 2.00 on rent. He now owes 1.28 on July. Aug. will (?) tomorrow 6.00 got letter from Indianapolis man asking about (?) furniture. Saml. E. Moran. Made out lot of bills but didn't collect any. Drove with Tue out nearly to Salem Church at night. Looks like rain after sun set. Thunder shower S. about 9 P.M. Gobed about 10 PM. very warm night. Ther. stood at 80 at midnight

Mostly cloudy day and grows cooler early AM. Bud lot of peach trees with apricot also some almond ints wild plum. Miss. Kemayer pays rent for July. R.S. Hordgren pays old a/c 6.00 Kelly says will go out to Uncle Johns early to get cow. Bim will help him drive her i(?). Drove round town while at night with Tue. Prohibition Camp Meeting in progress. Sr. John of Kansas speaks today. Coolest day for two or three weeks. 10 PM

Foggy early. Clears off. Bim brings in cow about 8.30. Kelly did not go out Baby not feeling very well. Father and I fixed fence in bottom P.M. Drove toward night up N. & N.W. of town with tue and baby. The prohibition Camp Meeting draws quite a crowd. M & P went to church at night. Self not well went to bed at 8.30 P.M.

Cloudy and raining very heavy, thunder storm from 2 PM till morning, much wind at times. Milk white cow self this morning. Went out after breakfast to turn her out and she was gone with the calf. Put in the day looking for her. Kelly helping good part of the time. Didn't find nor hear of her. Mrs. Dickenson washed. Baby sick all day. Had trying afternoon Saddle of harness broke will have to get a new one. Pleasent day with strong west wind. Gobed 9.PM.
