Preston has decided to accept Abe Hardin's proposition but will remain till Mar. I didn't hitch up. Fine day with southwesterly wind. I felt rather worse than usual. Alfred comes; removes ashes; wants Tue to hold back his salary till till 2.00. CO (Bud) Skidmore funeral today. Tue went up town for grub toward night. The roads must be fine. Mostly clear. Am out of all kinds of feed after tomorrow morn. Go 9.

Cloudy foggy or misty. fair rain wind N. Hen pays 5.00 on 7.50 fine. I paid for him recently. Comer in town with gang P.M. says he has been serving this week.. Find he is nearly paid up on everything. Got Lp order of Jo Perkins. Dark wet day, fine mist or rain most of time. Wind from E. to N. Went down to depot to take peck of apples to Prof. Lee. Snider was in town. Has Si Record and his wife living with them, also has good girl. Gobed 10 PM
