Cloudy. Thunder shower about 6 AM from N. and N.E. about one inch falling.  Kate Davis and May Johnson over AM.  Write letters to E.D. Davis and J.O. Cuthbert regarding burning of sawmill.  Drove again down to young's but didn't see him.  Intended to go to mill today, but didn't get letter from J.O.W., asking     (?).  Sultry afternoon.  Sprinkles rain during day showers around and (?) after 8 P.M.  with much thunder.  Drove with Tue at night but quit early fear of rain.  Wes Gaylan got hurt today.  Saw Young at night, says will pay tomorrow.  Go bed 8.30 PM
