Tuesday, July 9, 1912  5.30 AM  Ther.  68.  92.  78.  = 79 1/3 
Clear. S. 2.  Tue slept in N. Room and did not rise early.   She  and Phebe iron much of AM.  Tell Harvey twice more to come and fix furnace.  I drove SW of town a mile or two looking for fungi.  I did not  get any.  Mostly clear day and  one of of the warmest this summer.  Tue  over at Groves at night.  H a  letter from Muggs this morning.  Oats are turning and will be in the harvest next week.  We have heard nothing from Kate who left us over two weeks ago.  Go bed 9.30

Some cloudy.  Mrs. Chanceller "borrows"  water to wash with.  Tue finishes blue dresses for girls.  Pay Comer  83.48  owe him on city bill 100.00.  Pay W. Decker 10.00 on wood hauling, pay Moffett a/c 3.30.  Buy gal B. Berries at Mitchells.  Uncle John and Bim in PM.  Says my mare has injured one of his best horses badly.  Walk down  to Depot and round by gas well toward night.  Very warm mostly strong NW wind.  Tue went  up to  Davis  at night.  Go bed 10 P.M.
