Saturday, June 15, 1912  5.30 AM  Ther.  66.  90.  78.=78
Part cloudy thunder showers S. wind S.W.2.  Emmett came finishing 2 P.M. Paid him up in full ck. $1.65  Parker came AM amd pay him for shingle barn. 12.90  Will get him to repair B.C. shed soon and we discuss plans for same.  I look  I look for Simons but think not in.  They finish Soldiers Monument AM.  Kate came A.M.  staying the night.  All except self  visit shows at night.  Emmett raked yard and cleaned up good deal.  This warm day of season to date.  Moderate southerly wind with showers around.  Emmett says rainbow.  It sprinkels several times and threatens rain with lightening NW with lightening NW night.  Parker brought Tue Egg Plants which she set.  there is big mix up at Chicago R. Presidential Conv. which will be  held 18th (?).  Gobed 10.30 P.M.

Wednesday, June 15, 1887  6 A.M.  Ther.  71.  90.  72  clear.  
Father met with accediting (?) H.G. down second time time to see about lumber.  Had to go right down to mill to see about it.  Start at 8 AM get back at noon.  Hottest day of June.  Mrs. Laird irons.    The silk worms at house and store both dying fast.  Fast one spun yesterday, others began today.  Took a lot from upstairs down up to store.  Father and I went up to Chiltern after osage.  Gobed  9.30.
