Monday, June 24, 1912 5.15 A.M. ther. 58. 82. 70. = 70.
Clear, N.1. Parker went to Loxa and found work done by Weal. So phone from Loxa. Otherwise going out. I didn't see Parker. Try to get Tue to go out to Helen's* with me but didn't.. Drove up to Frank Balch's P.M. taking packages left here by Kate. Buddy went P.M. to see Jessie Dunn taking Charles in his buggy. I did not drive much. Mare very nervous about fire crax which are now in season. Today got letter from Muggs AM. Tue over at Grove's at night. Mostly clear light northeasterly winds. Gobed 9.30

Friday, June 24, 1887 6:30 AM ther 66. 80. 62.
Clear. Start for Mill at 8.30 with father. Tried to get some hickory bark but gave up. Horse got scared while I was getting ready to feed her ran away and tore up every thing "Dad" and I had to ride home with Jo Easton gathered up what we could find. Left buggy down there in two or three places. Get home at about 8 o'clock P.M. pretty well tired out. Clouds up toward night and looks like rain. Need it everything is drying up. Wheat looks well and mostly cut Go bed 10 P.M.
