Wednesday, May 22, 1912 5.30 A.M. Ther. 64,84, 72 = 73 1/3
Clear S.S.W.3. Emmett came, was sick yest. He mows yard A.M. The machine worked fine. Cut weeds in pasture. In P.M. we went to cemetery and worked an hour or two cleaning off lots. Kate and Stella call about 11 A.M. They are back on a visit from California where they went four years ago. Emmett went to cutting weeds on Perkins lot after we got back. Tue washed A.M. and was over to Grove's by request several times today. Mr. G does not seem well today. Tue visits Mrs. LeReck at night. Clear day strong southwind (sic). K&S went over to Frank's to dine Phebe and Ora Webb arrive 11P.M. Phebe lost her trunk on trip home. Go bed 10.30 P.M.

Hot day and mostly clear. Drive with Tue, Phebe and baby up N. of town and also down to water works after dinner. Kate Davis over while P.M. Went with Ruth and Maggie after Osage. Thunder shower with wind and heavy rain after 10 P.M. Caught a large gray moth last night, she deposited after I caught her about 100 eggs. The roads are getting very good. The silk worms are getting to be very much in the way. There are some 10,000 or 15,000 of them and they occupy more room every day. Gobed 10 P.M.
