Thursday, May 2,1912 5.30 A.M. ther. 60, 84, 70 = 71 1/3
Clear. S.E.2. Strong gas smell. I hitch up late not being able to catch mare. Ellen got her for me. I drove up to Dicewood and beyond looking for mushrooms. Get none. Ellen and Tue cleaning front hall today. I drove out by Al Latas toward night but did not go in Road out that way very rough. Little mud, although ground to wet to work. Leave word at Emmetts to come tom. morn to mow yard &c. I felt poorly all day and take oil at night. Frank Miller calls A.M. to correct E light reading for last month. Repairs Tue's iron. We have been eating in kitchen for several days but change to DR today. Harman phone disappointed because I didn't go out. Refsants (?) nothing doing afc wet weather. Mostly clear light S.E. wind. I drove round by Old Molter warehouse which burned Tuesday night. 250 tons B.C*, and lot of hay. It is still burning. Bill Hill and others have been finding fungi. I have not seen any. The old house is waiting for something to turn up. Phone Harman that will be our early morn. Gobed 10 P.M.

Monday, April 2, 1887 6 AM Ther 74, 80 61 Mostly cloudy uncomfortably warm night. Went up to store at 7 A.M. to take George's place. Gnass helps till noon sweeps out up stairs &c. Have some words with HG about wages and don't go home to dinner. Thunder shower with heavy wind about noon. Phebe got wet coming from school. Delia got back after breakfast. Take walk with Woodrew down to railroad to look at a pile of ties. About sick myself today. Gobed 10.30 P.M.
