Cloudy and raining S.E.4. Tue and E fixing old curtains A.M. Rain til near 8 A.M. (.60) Rain much of A.M. I hitch up about noon and get "same" ordered yesterday was out. City Marshall Fuqua serves notice on me to "clean up" Perkin lot. I drove up P.M. See Emmett and Bob Fitz they will take load of dirt to cemetery tomorrow morn. Get big letter and book from Muggs. She seems to feel rather blue. I drive out to cemetery but gates were closed getting home 5.30 P.M. Tue and Ellen have been working at hall upstairs P.M. King worked at pain in DR yest P.M. but did not return today as intended. Clears off about 4 P.M. and signs of fair weather Much thunder all morn but little rain here; heavy showers south. Emmett and I look over Perkins lot; there is not much to clean up except brick and shall leave them on the ground. Harman phones 8.30 PM that through sowing oats and has plowed about 11 acres north of A. Moore. Suggests that I pay Davis GS at once. Go bed 9 PM~

Set three rows - except 8 plants, S end of n.n.w. which are suposed to be Gregg. Gregg raspberry in bottom next west three rows shaffers Colonal next four rows Snyder Blackberry. Plant peas E row Early Kurt. Next row first and best, then two rows supposed Vermont Champion patatoes 5 rows Victor 1 row mixture, 1 row supposed Davis. Set row cabbage plants. Odd Fellow Celebration today. Fan came in forenoon with Fred and baby and stayed all day. Maggie and Phebe both sick at night. The grand jury has not yet adjourned. Learn that Latta and others are indited. Gobed 10 P.M.
