July 1892

24. Sunday, 6,30 AM.  Ther.  80.  98.  80.
Clear, wind Southerly, A duplicate of yesterday.  Self felt some better but don't move around much.  A shade cooler at night and more wind than yesterday.   go bed 9 P.M.

July 1903

24.  Friday 5.30 AM.  Ther.  60.  90.  70.  =  73 1/3
Clear.  I went up town before breakfast.  Jim Pugh takes up mare to shoe front and back & brought her home owe him for it.  I start to Loxa 10 AM get home before dinner which ate.  They are putting up hay and have what they call a two ton at north end.  Reatha's ear is all right since morning  I had cramps most of the P.M. and lay  on floor till about 4 PM  Downeys girls over and with Gaines'  pick berries much of P.M.  I went over to seed plot but too hot to do anything.  All corn is doing is looking well.  I got home 7 P.M.  Mostly clear and very warm day  Talbott will cut 5 A piece next Monday unless I sell it on ground.  The gang will stack tomorrow on north pierce  Gobed 830 PM
