Cloudy NW wind light snow. My foot was better this morning and by night didn't feel much different from usual. Old Mr. Ball died today of grip, Tom Messicks niece also died. Cloudy day, light snow flurries all day, clears off in night. probably 1 1/2 inches fell. Turned much colder about 2 P.M. Ther at 4 PM. was 8 and stood at zero at midnight gobed Midnight.

Cloudy S.W, wind. S now flying. Phebe up but feeling badly. Tue went up to Starrs for meddy. Mrs. Groves over AM. Dick and Bert sawing and splitting wood and piling near house. Was up town AM. for pork. Jack Jefferies says [ink splat]. Blair still wants to buy my store building. Self feeling better than lately. Tue on W.P. [war path] at night. Phebe went out at night till late hour, so suppose she is filling much better. Dessa out with friends at night. Louise over at night. Mostly cloudy day with SW wind. Wind rises at night with some light snow in night. Go bed 9 P.M.
