6. Monday 7 AM. Ther 37. 48. 33. = 39 1/3
Cloudy light S. wind Look round all forenoon for man to work, get Tom Rice who worked P.M. wheeling out manure grading barn yard and setting cherry trees. Moved N. cherry tree Louis Phillips to N. end of W. row plum trees. Next tree S Belle de Chaisy, broken at stump two years ago moved to E. side chicken yard upper tree Third cherry S. was hazelnut. Reice Hortense on hill side below cellar drain near stump f wild goose plum which died last year. 4th tree south moved to E. side chick yd. near foot of hill Self not feeling very well yet still have pain in chest. Pleasant day wind changing fro from S. to SE and finally to N.E. turning colder about 2 30 P.M. fresh N.E. wind afternoon and night roads seem to be drying fast. Peach trees appear to be pretty full of live fruit buds. we can't do anything at garden till until we take care of the chickens. Did not go up town tonight Gobed 9 30 PM
7. Tuesday 5:45 AM. T. Election Ther 27. 49. 39. = 39
Clear NE wind. Went up town after breakfast to get ballot box for Fred Trautman. H.G, and Nick gone hunting. T. Rice worked forenoon grading in barnyard Uncle John was down to dinner. decided to go to timber but gave it up, buy halter at Adams. Father and I packed smoked meat in ashes PM. Maggie went down to Richters after school. Clear day with N.WE wind Roads said to be pretty fair out in country gobed 9 PM~~
