26. Sunday. 8 AM. Ther 39.
Cloudy with fresh NW wind. rain last night barely laid the dust. Tue sent up and got some oysters for dinner. I start for ranch about 3 PM getting there before dark gloomy cloudy day with NW wind Gobed 8 P.M.

26. Saturday. Clear and Cool Uncle Mark drove down to Geneva late AM. by way of Billsboro. Stop at Newts. He was not at home but saw John C at station He forgot to call for me yesterday. Arrived at Geneva Uncle M. and I eat at restaurant on Seneca St. about noon after which we drove up to Aunt Margarets staying an hour or so there after which he drove me over to Cynthias leaving me there. I got first letter from home today. Pick up things and leave for New York and Long Island 8.40 P.M. riding down in bus. which called for me. Fare 10 c
