I am not caught up, but I thought I would start on today's date and try to keep that up. I will go back and pick up the highlights of the days I missed as I have time.

16. Friday 6.30 AM. Ther
Cloudy and colder wind N. Mrs. Rogers ironed, washed yesterday Manifold sawing wood will finish in day or two Tue puts up stove in front room. Made exchange of bonded whisky with F Shiness & Co remitting balance. Had mess of puff balls for supper which we thought did not agree with us. Milt drove Uncle John cattle up today and stays in town till 10 PM. (?) very a(?) to rent south end of my place fencing and cleaning up for first crop. Think will let him do it. Mostly clear day with N wind Gobed 10.30 PM.

16. Monday. 5.75, AM. Ther. 45. 75. 56 = 58 2/3
Clear Northerly wind. Maggie started to Champaign when she expects to take Library Course. Bid her goodbye at 11:38 train. Get shave AM. Drove out to Gaines' PM. 2.30 Joe still culling corn. Shirley bulking down his B.C. began this morning. Jo will work for Pat Downey tomorrow changing. Clear A.M. N.E. wind but turns colder about 2 P.M. with N.W. wind. Strong and mostly cloudy P.M. I started home 5.30 P.M. taking tomatoes onions and sack of potatoes. Sent HAB premium list of fair which begins tomorrow. Seems to quite a stir at F.G. today Mrs. Gaines says she is thinking of going away on visit leaving Jo to "batch" Gobed. 8.30 P.M.
