9.  Sunday 7 AM,  Ther.  20.  45.  38.  =34 1/3
Clear, wind S.E.  Hutchasons (sic) folks did not come  Sent word would be here tomorrow.  Maggie goes to Sunday School.  Stay around house all day not feeling first rate.  Maunie her P.M.  Mostly clear day with S.E. wind.  Began to rain about dark and remained slowly most of the night  Gobed 12.15

10.  Monday 7.30 AM.  Ther  37.  43.  45  =  41 2/3
Cloudy and raining wind strong S.  Tue on warpath,  Mrs. Hutchason and Mrs. Huffman call but don't stay.  Self about sick fever all P.M., and didn't go up to store at night.  Raining moderately all day and growing warm very discouraging weather  Roads as bad  as can get.  Our wood ran out today and we had to  work up chopping block will have to burn fence posts for week or two at least.  Gobed 11 P.M.

11.   Tuesday.  6.30 AM  Ther  48.  60.  50  =  52 2/3
Cloudy.   Wind S Mist at times during day.  John Simons up to see about cow failed to  get Bill Kellys sent some medicine down for the sheep.  Reports everything doing well. I went uptown before noon but high fever most of day think must have the grip. Pay Simon in full for stuff bought for me and paid for by him.  Maunie here in P.M.  Tue and girls over at Lattas after supper.  Cloudy day with S wind  Gobed 10.30 PM~~

12.  Wednesday.  6.30 AM.  38.  45.  40.  =  41
Cloudy wind W.  Kelly call early to say can't have the cow  Went and saw Mrs. K, P.M. says can have her for 30.00.  Mrs. Rogers washed and did some cleaning upstairs.  Hat here in P.M. till night  Abbott cut some wood P.M. out of odds and ends.  Paid Jenkins in full a/c 61.59.  Cloudy day with N.W. wind  gobed 12

13.  Thursday 6.30 AM.  Ther  34.  48.  38.  =  40
Part cloudy.  Tue gets Marie's large picture at Jenkins'  Hat and H down to dinner also Uncle John.  Self feeling badly P.M. must have "La Grippe" as it does not seem like simple cold.  Trim a few vines and trees PM.  Mostly clear day with fine red sunset trade dull roads terrible  Gobed 1 oc

14.  Friday 7 AM.  Ther  27. 42.  17  =  28 2/3
Clear N wind changing to NW.  Mostly cloudy P.M.  Snowing from 4 P.M. till dark and growing colder fast  Then at midnight 10.  Mrs. Rogers  irons P.M.  Phebe and self pick up half bushel of peach pits.  Rile Decker in settle with him in full except 87 cts. rent due he says another ewe died last Monday.  Invoice stock at store and remove figures once.  Trade dull  Gobed 1 oclock

15.  Saturday.  7 AM.  Ther  6.  Mostly clear.  Stron NW wind.  Jo Handly brought a note from Simon saying he had bought a cow.  Jo reports two of my ewes were dead this week.  Jo paid me two dollars today borrowed 3 weeks ago.  Finish figuring up invoices.  It seems very satisfactory.  Mostly clear day.  But very few people in town and trade dull.  John Spurgeon says will  haul me some hay Tuesday.  Get Brownfield to saw up some posts.   Gobed 1.30

16.  Sunday 7.30 AM  Ther  16.  34.  30.  = 26 2/3
Clear westerly wind.  Girls did not go to Sunday School.  Tue  made them some taffy in P.M. went out and trimmed a few grape vines in PM.  Brownfield sawed us a little wood AM  were entirely out.  Pleasant day SW wind and thawing some.  Kelly and Brownfield both help at store.  Gobed  11 PM.~

17.  Monday.  17.  7.30 AM.  Ther   32.  52.  41.  =  41 2/3
Cloudy /SW wind.  John Spurgeon brings us a little hay AM.  Pay Brownfield in full for saw wood. Mrs. rogers washes Uncle John in PM after seeder.  Tue has decided to wash weekly after this and has also decided hire a girl this spring.  Caught the chicken at night think Simons will be up tomorrow  Go bed 12.30

18.  Tuesday 7.30  ther  40.  53.  39  =  44
Partly  clear with light NW wind.  Light rain at times during day.  Heavy from 6 60 8 PM with thunder , Mrs. Rogers ironed in P.M.  Ella Facklin called.  Expected John Simons today but he didn't come.  Prepare lot of grape cuttings to take down to ranch.  gobed 12.15

19.  Wednesday.  7 AM.  ther  30.  47.  40  =  39
Mostly clear N. wind, light frost.  Mostly clear day with NW wind, quite good many people in town considering the roads which are said to be worse than any time this year.  Wash and  fill box of flasks in P.M.  Think I took cold, feeling badly at night  Gobed 12.45

20.  Thursday, 7 AM.  Ther  39. 57. 41  =  45 2/3
Mostly ckiudy, S wind sprinkle rain at times P.M.  Mrs. Hall  Record died today.Make note at bank with Tue 90'd. 800.00 this is part renewal of note given Dec 13'89 having reduced it  one hundred.  Tue went up town P.M.  Dark damp afternoon gobed 10.30 P.M.

21.  Friday, 6.30 AM.  Ther  41.  63.  49  =  51
Mostly clear.  warmest day this month.  Kelly rode mare.  Cleaned out stable.  Repaired front gate  Dems electioneering pretty strong have their primary tomorrow otherwise I would have gone to the ranch today.  Learn from Frank Shaw that Walter Briggs has bought the bottom across the  branch.  Gobed 12.
