Skelly shot Lune Woodrum fatally in Laudes Saloon about 6 P.M.  Cloudy day and growing colder: light snow at night and strong W. wind.  Trade light   Go bed 11 PM

Clear, wind NW.  Skelly gave himself up last night.  Send Tom Threkeld a cord of wood at 3.75  Phebe went to school first time week  Mrs. Rogers here AM. decide to take washing home.  Tue went up town toward night  Clear day with N.W. wind  Wharton drunmmer here.  Gobed  11.30 PM

Clear Heavy white frost, wind S.  Mrs. Perrill came in morning and spent the day  Kate here to dinner, also Uncle John  Mrs. Harly worse.  Tue was over there at night till 8 oc  Mostly clear day.  Trade some better.  South wind, Roads wearing down  Gobed 1030 ~

Clear or nearly so with south wind  Alarm of fire at 7 AM.  Lune Woodrum shot last Wednesday night died today.  H.G. went home this morning with the "grip."  I had to stay at store most of day.  Bought blue fish of Geo Lee.  Rec 466.41 from Friskey for Boh Whiskey.  Trade fair  Girls over to Davis' at night.  Clear day  Go bed  11.30 PM.  Mrs. Rogers brought home washing.

0  0  +  Mostly clear  southwind.  Start to Loxa 9.30 AM.  Jo still grubbing cottonwood pond.  After dinnerI went down to Loxa.  McPhenon did not pay me any thing.  Today election in County to decide for or against county bonds.  People not showing enough interest to go and vote  Saw H.H. at Loxa.  He has recently got back from Iowa.  Drive down to Lloyds after getting home to pay for wash last week.  Clara ironed todau  Warm day with fresh southwind  Roads drying and getting better fast  Gobed 9 PM

Mostly clear stron NW wind.  Clara ironed.  Mrs. Grove was over in P.M.  I work at sorting papers in back hall P.M. finished  Fine day NW wind streets becoming.  Cooney Scheyatt filling in where dug out.  Self not feeling very well all day  Gobed 10 PM  Return Cadle newspaper

17.  Thursday.  5.30  AM.  Ther  22.  25.  20  =  22 1/3  Cloudy northwind.  Snow flying most of forenoon  Didn't hitch up horse today for about first day this winter  Mostly clear P.M.  I try a pin hole picture and develope two plates at night  Marie and Clara watching me  This was a hard day to keep the house warm owing to strong northwind.  Tue and Maggie away at night till bed time  Earl Decker was up and I paid him 4.50 ch for 5 cord wood and 125 posts.  Gobed 10 PM  Buy box of Eastman dry plates at Ricketts  paid

-0+  Mostly clear N.W. wind  Self have very sore throat this morning  Jack Trobaugh works AM. putting in all the wood taking out ashes and hauling over manure for mushrooms pay him all.  Tue attends R.C. at Marshalls P.M.  Daisy called to see Clara P.M.  Mostly cloudy afternoon.  West wind and weather seems to be moderating.  Maggie brought us clock in place of one returned  Gobed 9 P.M. __
