Cloudy wind S.E. light rain at times in night. Mrs. Harley is sick. Thought of going to ranch today but too much like rain. Girls went to S.S. Maunie lang over about noon and until night. Phebe feverish at night gave Eilert Pill. Rain toward night and very heavy after dark with much thunder and violent gale Maggie got caught in storm taking milk to neighbors Mostly cloudy day with strong S.E. wind gobed 9 PM ~

Cloudy NW wind some sleet and rain in night night I did not wake till 6.30 Clara did not come on 5.37 as expected but arrived on local. My supper disagreed with me last night and feel badly this morning. Light fine snow a while in morn. Shirley called about 9 AM. Paid me 5.00 borrowed last week. Clara ironed Tue attends R.C. at J.H. Marshalls. Peel last of quinces. Buy clock and oil cloth at Jenkins, paid. Maggie over at Roman's at night. Clara went to see Daisy. Tue and Marie at Groves. Cloudy day with NW wind fine snow occasionally (?). gobed 9.30 P.M.

Partly clear. Westwind. Jack Trobaugh works from 8 am till 4 P.M Pay him 1.00 which is 16 cts over. Clara uphosters her kitchen table. Jack split and piled wood and clean out stable &c Defenbaugh pays up and I release mortgage Allowed him about 5.00 to pay for abstract I promised him. Mrs. Gaines sent for some goods which I buy at Jenkins. Hearty talking of a greenhouse and would like to lease bottom lot. I went up town after supper and had accident with Queen on way up. Harness came off in part and might have had serious runaway. Tue and Marie went up town at night. Buy chicken at Hutton's Mostly clear day with westerly wind. Defenbaughs bal. pd today 75.00 Gobed, 10.30 P.M.
