Since the 1914 journal stopped in June and does not return until May 1915 I thought I would add the journal from 1900. My Grandmother Reasor, Marie, is 13.

28. Sunday. 8 AM. Ther. 78. 86. 70. = 78
Hazy. Heavy thunder shower in night not much rain though. Went up to store in morning post books and sweep off side walk. H. G. relieves himself of bile on large scale. Picked over first grown corn today. Tue kills one of her chicks for dinner. Mamie Lang here most of day pleasant day gobed 9 P.M.

Clear, southerly wind. Shirley called AM. and reports that he and Jo will haul in bal. of oats this evening. John Simons called a while after dinner. Some walls fell in back of Geo Grays building when they were repairing. Saw Ira Brown P.M. says has just got to sawing. Give him Snider's bill and small one for self. Order urinal of John Van Meter to cost 5.00 Garert Wall is back from Casey today Get other specs of Jake Morgan all paid. Drive round town alone an hour or two at night smoking last cigar and quit. Phebe accident tonight. Mostly clear day Gobed 11 PM.
