Mostly clear S.4. I sent several papers to Kate Bacon yesterday. Receive this morning mail watch from Farmer's Review, a premiumn. My sub. is paid to Feb 1916. Order mare 10 AM. and later drive up town and out to cemetery driving in Talk with Geo. Hunt at Fairground about cow peas last season R.R. lot. They were J.R. Hall's. Bert and Rene were in to dinner. They are witness in Ball and Clark rape case today. H.G. came up to pack up bed & c somethings for Tue to send Buddy. Tue has planned to go to Mt. C. Friday. I drove late P.M. S.W. Pass Sam Walters return by Al Latta's. Mostly clear Southerly winds. 10.30 P.M.

Part cloudy. S.3. Rhoda washing. Order mare early. Drive town AM. Tue letter from Buddy. I mail one to Buddy for Tue. She sends bedstead by express. Buy two black shirts at Winters Cr. 2.00 first since paid up. List if (?) & Co Glasco's et al indebtedness in yest. Courier totals over 36,000.00. Tue and Phebe up town P.M. Charley came to chore but decides to wait till tomorrow night. Late P.M. I drive E on South road about a mile Roads generally good The mud about dried up. Fair day strong southerly wind. Clear at night. I slept on couch from supper till 10 PM. Steve Hall was buried today. 2.30 PM.

Clear early but clouds up S.4. This wind continued through the night. This morning weather forecast cold wave tonight or tomorrow. Tue and Phebe iron most of day. Expected Rhoda P.M. She didn't come. Tue trying to get ready to start Mt. C. tomorrow. We get loaf of Brown bread from Buddy today. Tue up to Mrs. Littleton's several times P.M. Charley takes out ashes and brings up wood and coal. Sudden change in weather about or before noon. Wind gets NW Ther falls gradually until about 30 at 5 P.M. light rain snow or sleet much of the afternoon. I did not hitch up or would have taken mare to Nickle's for night. Tue and Ph up town till after I retire 9
