Mostly cloudy. NE.a. Miller came 7 A and work till 5P msotly on SW cor. AM not satisfied with colors and think will try to change it. Rhoda washed AM stays to dinner. They had to hang in attic. I feel poorly and stay round house most of the day. Drove up to T. Briggs and talk with him but still in dark bout colors. Toward night I drove S.W. thought might see some fungi I (sic) got too dark and return after 6 P. Tue attends services with Mrs. Brooks getting home about 9 Mostly cloudy light variable winds go bed 10.30 P

Fog early later part cloudy. N.E.1. Miller came 7. I went on a paint hunt but brought up at Briggs. Have decided to go ahead same as started till change mind again. Tue got long letter from Mrs Eagleston Mrs. Gove was over on hour or two AM. I shave self AM. and drove up for bread meeting Simons says Warren has gone to work clearing south field. Andrews & Co begin hauling coal putting in four loads. Tue went to B class meet at Fullers PM getting home 4 oc. Albert Brown came for pears a while and I took him home getting back 6 P. Tue attends church at night with Mrs. Brooks and then went to a show. Miller works till 5 P.M. mostly on upper coraice. Part clear day light variable winds. Gobed 10

Mostly clear. S.E.2. gas. Miller comes 7. BPA bring one load coal making say 14 tons including small load previous. I have Thos Briggs order 6 gal each of Nos 154 and 163 by express. Think will get it Monday. Tue sends basket of pears to Buddy by Ex. I drove down to E. of Normal gettingnice mess of campestris which eat for dinner. Tue R.C. at Ollys P.M. I get grey hat Winters. They send down one which return. Miller works till 5 PM. Thinks lay off tomorrow. Part cloudy Strong southerly winds becoming westerly. Rain with Thunder 5 PM. (?) later and night. Rain .48

Clearing NW4. There light showers in night with much lightning and wind rain meas. .48 in to 6 AM. The rain did not damage new paint much. Miller called and pay him 6.75 in full to date. Tue ironing AM. I drove S. of town AM. seeing several campestris but did not get any of them. Tue ate dinner at Grove's and was gone when I returned. Mary and Ella Facklen from Cal. are there visiting. We get letter from Muggs AM. She is going to Columbus O. to attend wedding and will call here on way say 24th. We expect Phebe home tomorrow Her divorce case will come up Monday. The town full of people today. Clear with strong NW wind Tue did not attend church at night as usual. Gobed 9 P.M.
