24. Sunday. 6 AM. Ther. 60. 84. 72. = 72.
Clear W. 1. After getting the newspaper Tue and I plan to take a little drive but decide to let it go till after an early dinner. Mrs. G came in before we ate, disarranging everything. Morty came later and both stay the P.M. till nearly 6. Tue very much disappointed. I left alone about 5.30. Drive up to to T. line on J.B. Hill road, west to next road and nearly a mile north past She(?) Popham's where they are building a road of crush stone. I return by Watsons and south road. Crop look some better than a month ago not much however. Mostly clear day light variable winds. I got home 7 P.M. Gobed 9

Clear. S.E.1. I didn't sleep much last night - sour stomach and found trouble. I drove over to see Hatton but he is working on section. Paul Harman brought in old bureau and took out jag of old lumber ate dinner. They are going to put a new floodgate accross branch at road. Tue got a letter from Muggs. None from Buddy. Will look for home about Wednesday. Tue went to Mrs. Brook's 2 P.M. I stop there for her later and we drove down to Rhoda's and by many devious streets down by Osgood place and home at 6 P.M. We met Dr. Byres and wife S.E. of town. Tue went over to see Mrs. Curd at night who has recently returned from Colorado visit. Gobed 9.
26, Tuesday. 6 AM. Ther. 64. 90. 78. = 77 1/3
Clear S.W. 1. Slept fairly well and think bowels better. I drove down to (?) Millers AM. to employ him. He will come tomorrow and repair plastering &c charges 25 c. per hour. I find patch of campestiss E. of Normal - too old but we have them for dinner. The Mariesors returned from their Hindsboro visit AM. Skinner brought them in surry. Order 3 sacks of wood fiber plaster from Andrews which they deliver P.M. I drove down to see Emmett but saw only his wife. He is working. O ur yard needs mowing. Walter made a start on it P.M. Tue got letter from Muggs. Mostly clear till late P.M. Light sprinkle rain at 6 - 7 P. My bowels get no better and fear will have to call in Doc. Take small (/) at night. This seems to be the only meddy in house suitable. Gobed.9
27. Wednesday. 6 AM. Ther. 68. 92. 80. = 80
Part cloudy N.E.1. Slept fairly well after 1 AM. Tue got up 4 AM to get me some milk. My flux seems much the same. Rhoda washing. Miller came early. Hall Record called with bill which did not pay quite yet. Harman calls about noon but did not stay long. He wants to turn cattle by corn to S.W. clover. I did not consent but may do so under conditions. I feel better P.M. Have taken little meddy or food: have lived on thickened milk mostly. Rhoda ironing P.M. Miller finishes plaster in cellar but as I expected balked(?) at porch piers, fear will have to tear out much of lower part front porch. Felt so bad did not hitch up. Walter and Marie drove out to Helen's toward night getting home about dark. Mostly clear day sprinkle rain AM. Gobed 8.30
