Most cloudy N.E. 2. Rhoda washes and irons till 2 P.M. Mostly clear day and averages the hottest to date this year. Too hot to move round much light variable winds. No signs of rain. After 5 P.M. I drive south to Kickapoo soak up old buggy wheels return via Wrightsville getting home 7 P.M. Am still waiting for new axels. Tue patched up old hammock in garden. The girls went over to Wolmsley's P.M. My pain in side much better P.M. Phebe and Muggs dye a red dress. Gobed 9 P.M.
