Mort was over at Tue's request to see about proposed W.C. to take place of SW. porch. We did not decide what we would do. Will do so later. One Adair calls P.M. to rent room. Tue gets letter from Phebe. Had secured place at Ann Arbor Mich. but had not yet left Chicago. Clear day and just about as hot as ever, very oppressive P.M. I did not eat supper. Tue over at Mrs. K's at night. Learn that Harold Bacon is in town. I have not seen him. Go bed 10 P.M.
