6,  Tuesday, 6 AM.  ther.  56.  84.  72. = 70 2/3
Mostly clear. E.1.  Get horse shod all round and spokes at Siberts' AM.  Paid check 1.75.  "Look for Harvey" AM.  Shrivers begin repair roof in morn.  Maggie went over to Graces PM.  Tue attends aid meet.  I  look again for Harvey not finding him.  Cliff phones will be in for lumber PM and I drive to Andrews .  Met Cliff on State St. on way to B.PA.'s "to help Paul load up."  Cliff calls later and we settle so far as can to date.  He  gives check for 45.64 which is bal. due me after deducting several items among which is an iron gate(8.00), 20 rods  of fence (8.00) &c.   they did not take out the roofing but part load 1 X 4 ~10.  Take mare to Nickles at night.  Shriver (2 men) work most of the day on roof fair day E and S.E. winds.  Muggs and Ph to library night.  I set up reading till 10.30
