13.  Saturday,   6 AM.  Ther.  78.  94.  78
Clear.  Good many people in town today.  Uncle John down to dinner.  Snider called after dinner.  Sold old buggy to Nicholson for 12.00 to pay next week.  Comer was up P.M.  Has not yet decided what he will do.  Pay freight & dray(?) on case Bethesda recd recently.  Learn that Ed Eastin was partly paralyzed and is going  to springs.  Pay Warren Decker 5.00 on hauling wood.  Engage Riley Eastin to make lot of red oak (1 tree) boards and deliver in town @ 40 cents per hundred.  Lightening N & NW at night storm came up about 11 P.M.  little rain 8,30 P.M.
