Clear, N.3. Tue and Phebe iron A.M. TWP. I saw Harvey. says has been sick for a day or two and will put up furnace in day or two. No word from Harman today. He has not handed out the poles. Think he is attending Chatauqua (sic). I drove up to town line. Some threshing wheat north of town. Alfred worked worked AM on yard. I drove S to John King's. His peach orchard was much killed last winter. The river is well up for time of year. I got home 6.30 P.M. Mrs. Curd, Mrs.Le Roy and others were here in evening. Clear day. N.N.E. wind3. The roads are good no fungi to be seen from buggy. Phone C.H. Jones Loxa to renew my subscription to Daily Record Herald from 27th inst. Go bed 9 P.M.

clear. Tue bakes bread after which gits(sic) an early dinner we drove out to to Uncle John's taking him a little "grub." Bert and family moved away several days ago. Found Uncle J. up and better than he had been. Stayed there until toward night got home before 6. Met Corman going to Mattoon. Very warm some clouds. Cu-light N. or NE wind. Took baby with us out there. She is not very well. Go bed 10.30
