Mostly clear. E.2. Tue phones A.M. that will stay till first of week. McNeel does nothing on furnace AM at loss what to do in this case. Gus came in AM with butter and eggs for us. Not big crowd in town for Saturday. Clear AM clouding up later. Moderate southerly wind. Andrew Burk died this morning will be buried Monday. I met Bill Scott up town and order 80 rods Pioneer fence at 38 cts. Put mare in pasture first time for week or two. Go bed 9.30

Clear, light S.E. wind. Tue washed today. Drove my mare while in morning first time since took her out to Uncle John's The trains from W. were late today caused by wreck at Bunker Hill. Rec. letter from J O Cuthbert Chicago accepting offer of 1700 for red oak FOB here on condition he can get 10c rate. Bert was in PM went over to Miles to see mare they say my mare hurt. Took drive after supper with Tue out by old place getting back before dark. Very sultry afternoon & night. Go bed 9 PM sprinkle rain after 11 PM.
