Friday, June 7, 1912.  5.30 AM.  Ther. 52.  76.  52. = 60
Clear, N.E.1.  Kate and Stella came about  9 AM and decide to hire a horse to take them over to Ashmore.  I drove to Andrews and order material to repair  barn at farm.  PM I drove over and saw Parker.  Will begin roofing barn Monday morning.  BPA ship lumber to Loxa paying freight.  I drove SW returning by Woodson Road getting home after six.  Kate was here when I got home and stayed the night.  In evening Kate relates some experience in Cal.  She has divorced from Mr.  Bacon.  The pump in cellar is our of commish P.M.  Most clear day go bed 9.30

Tueday, 6 AM. Ther.  74.  86.  70 
About clear, wind NW.  Stopped to look at Ruth's silk worms.  They look larger then mine did last year.  Father and I went out to G. Linder's after hedge after dinner.  Learn that his affairs for pension has been rejected.  Appearance of heavy rain with much thunder about 2 P.M., but little fell here.  Jake Linder died this morning Had not been sick long.  First two loads of lumber came up from the timber today.  Drove with Tue down to Depot to take Mapes girls valises.  Went with Ruth and Maggie up to Anderson's after hedge.  Gobed 9,30 P.M.  Oldest worms are preparing for their exit molt.  Mice still at them.
