Mostly clear, S.2. Phebe making hat for Tue. H.G. came down for lettuce. Talk with Frommell and Ike Rogers. Ike has not sold his B.C. Will put in wheat on ranch in fall if I desire it. (?) Owes 13.50 from way back which will pay when sells B.C. I got up town 5 P.M. Met John Parker with (?), of course, west side. He will look at my work first of week. Old man Andrews Comic Check horse man was badly hurt at Fair Ground today. Part clear day strong S. wind. Heavy thunder storm came up about sunset. Raining heavily for an hour. Ellen called for her clothes. She is staying at Emit's. She left for Loxa 9.30 car. Go bed 10 P.M.

Mostly cloudy day. Sell Jack Jefferies a lot of glasses. McGurty's were circulating a petition today for license. Tue finishes her hall papering in afternoon. Mrs. Davis over p.m. Kate Davis has been appointed teacher in schools in town. They are tearing down the Eastern school building preparatory to building a new one. Eastin's chickens are eating our garden up. They got through the fence. Drive with Tue out by Mound Cemetery after supper. Road good: it has not rained enough to make them muddy. Go bed 9.30 ~
