Clear, hazy. N.1.  Tue set out her celery plants yesterday.  I drove uptown A.M.  Met Rairdin at P.O.  He wants me to go to ranch and report as to his ranch.  They are putting an iron railing around monument.  Tue got  letter from Buddy, she arrived at Reasor's all right   Phebe went riding with Sue P.M. and Tue went up town.  Mostly clear AM.  Milky blue sky.  Some lazy cummili deloflofi into light thunder showers north.  Light south wind.  Was alone till bed time.  Go bed. 9.30

Tuesday, June 28, 1887,  6 AM.  Ther.  69.  89.  68.
Clear or nearly so.  Wash and oil  my harness.  Girls went to Mary Fackler's School in forenoon.  Hammock recd from St. Louis does not suit very fell.  Express 45c.  Mauice  Larry here most of P.M.  Went up to see how Listen was getting along with buggy,  had just begin to work on it.  H.G. down today Trying  to figure how much lumber the city has.  Tue    making some blue dresses for Maggie and Phebe.  Mostly clear day E wind Go bed 10 P.M.
