Clear S.E.2. Phebe went to River early with Frances. Tue attends church A.M. I got paper and drove north of town two or three miles getting home 11 AM. Saw Ben Spence talking with Jake Nickles on Monroe St. Most of farmers are about done planting. Seems to be much unbroken which suppose is left for B.C. Mostly clear AM Threatening P.M. with heavy thunder west and sprinkle rain here at 6 P.m. (.03in). We need rain: roads are dry and becoming dusty. Mrs. Grove complains of feeling some better. Ph and Ora walking at night. Have seen nor heard anything of Kate and Stella since last Wednesday. Part cloudy with Southerly wind. Gobed 9
