Charles Gramesly's Journal was written from 1878 to 1925. I am his Great-granddaughter and I post entries from the journal from 114 and 125 years ago. The journal is about everyday living in Charleston & Coles County Illinois. This is the house the Gramesly family lived in. It was dismantled in 1912. My Grandmother is the little girl on the porch. Charles Gramesly took this picture of his family home. I have many of his glass negatives.
